NormandyTours
This annual take on our Band of Brothers Tour is a commemorative 12-day journey celebrating the heroes who changed history on D-Day. From the beaches of Normandy to Hitler’s Eagle’s Nest, this tour hits the highlights of the American WWII war effort, with special stops focused on collectively honoring the sacrifice of our American heroes. We follow the path from D-Day to V-E Day, roughly in the footsteps of the famous Easy Company, who were present for the most pivotal moments in the later years of war. This trip is tailored for patriots who want to pay their respects and learn new details along the way.
Passengers are greeted at the Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris and transferred by coach to Normandy. After an orientation dinner to get to know your fellow patriots, we spend the next few days exploring the iconic shores of the Normandy Landings. Two days of this leg will focus on the American landing beaches Utah and Omaha, where we will pay our respects to the heroism that contributed to this battle that changed history. An entire day will focus on D-Day anniversary ceremonies, giving Passengers a chance to commemorate the occasion. We then visit the British landing beaches, where our fellow Allied troops fought to secure a foothold in Europe.
The second leg of our journey heads east to Belgium, where we visit the sites of the Battle of the Bulge, the foxholes of Bois Jacques, and the military vehicles at the Bastogne Barracks. You’ll have ample time to explore these quaint areas independently and appreciate the incredible history and awe-inspiring monuments of this vital region. We cross border to Luxembourg to pay our respects to the fallen soldiers at Luxembourg American Cemetery where General Patton is also buried.
Our journey culminates in Germany, where we will explore the genesis and defeat of Hitler’s Nazi Party. We begin by exploring the somber site of the first Nazi concentration camp, where we can pay our respects to the victims of Hitler’s genocide. We then head to Munich to learn about the Third Reich before we visit Obersalzberg and the Eagle’s Nest. The tour ends with a chance for reflection and community over a farewell dinner. The next day, our Passengers are brought to Munich’s airport for their return flights.

I went on this tour because my 11 year old grandson is a WWII buff. I was planning on being an 'observer'. I was so taken by the whole tour that I would do it again in a heartbeat. I loved this tour!!!!
Tour met all my expectations. Service was excellent and hotels were great
The wife and I booked the 79th D-day anniversary tour with Beaches of Normandy and had a wonderful trip. We have had the good fortune to travel extensively in our lives. Without a doubt Beaches of Normandy and our tour leader, Rey Stefan, made this the absolute best experience we have ever had. The trip went off with military precision, bus dropped us off at the entrance right on time and picked us up the same. We were treated as VIP's at every stop, especially the D-day ceremony at Utah Beach on June 6th. We were seated among dignitaries. The hotels and food included were very good, exceeded expectations. The program was better than we could have ever imagined, a great mix between the actual historical sites, walking tours and museums. But what made the difference was the knowledgable guides at every stop. Our Normandy guide was a wealth of knowledge and our Bastogne guide lived through the war so he spoke of both history and his personal experience. To sum it up, the entire experience was better than any expectation ... it was a WOW moment for 2 weeks. Every American should have this experience. We took so much from this, and we are so thankful.MORE
